In November 2022, together with my team, I took part in the SFSCON Hackathon in Bolzano, where we won the competition with a project focused on smart logistics and automation. Our challenge was to design a fully autonomous system for managing textile logistics in hotels and vacation houses, including laundry, curtains, and carpets.

We built a prototype based on Arduino, capable of tracking each textile item throughout the facility. A connected mobile app allowed staff to monitor and update item data in real time, while a dashboard interface supported management with live analytics and recommendations for efficient operation.

The experience combined teamwork, creativity, and practical engineering. It showed how simple embedded systems, when paired with good design and coordination, can bring automation and intelligence into everyday processes.
